Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte: Museum

Regensburg, Bayern

The permanent exhibition covers 2,500 square metres and follows modern Bavarian history from the founding of the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1806 to the present. The museum stands in Regensburg's old town on the south bank of the Danube and opened in 2019. Around 1,000 objects are on show, and a column-free hall of 1,000 square metres hosts changing exhibitions.
