From 1908 Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig showed his porcelain and ceramics to the public in the Prinz-Georg-Palais. The collection still feels like a family inventory, shaped by the tastes of the Darmstadt ruling house. Its focus is faience and porcelain from Kelsterbach, alongside pieces from Meissen, Nymphenburg, Höchst, Frankenthal, Vienna, Sèvres and St Petersburg.
