Grafenort concentration camp
Gorzanów, dolnośląskie
In the final weeks of the war, Grafenort Castle, today's Gorzanów, held a women's subcamp of Gross-Rosen. From 1 March 1945, 250–400 Jewish women from the Łódź region were forced to dig anti-tank trenches and build fortifications here. Soviet forces liberated the camp on 8 May 1945. The memorial site lies about 10 km north of Bystrzyca Kłodzka.
