Housed in the neo-Renaissance Rudolfinum of 1884, on the Vltava where the Old Town meets Malá Strana, this is a kunsthalle with no collection of its own. It stages large exhibition projects, mostly of contemporary art, with an eye to the international scene. The building is shared with the Czech Philharmonic, so a visit pairs easily with its concert hall.
