Set in Rastatt Palace, a key site of the Baden Revolution, the Freedom Museum explores Germany's democratic traditions. Displays run from the 1848-49 revolution and the National Assembly through resistance under the Nazis to opposition and resistance in East Germany. It is a stop on the Democracy Way from Frankfurt to Lörrach.
