This museum on the edge of Lütjenburg, close to the motte-and-bailey castle, explains how the Ice Age shaped Schleswig-Holstein: the hilly east coast, the sandy middle and the flat west. Fossils, minerals and rocks sit alongside themes from biology and the lives of people of the time. The emphasis is on hands-on learning for all ages.
