On the grounds of the former locomotive depot, a listed technical monument, stand over 30 steam, diesel and electric locomotives. It is Thuringia's largest locomotive collection and Germany's largest collection of electric locomotives. The focus is on Deutsche Reichsbahn diesel and electric engines, with a few road vehicles alongside.
