Dümmer-Museum

Lembruch, Niedersachsen

On two floors, this museum tells the natural and cultural story of Lake Dümmer and its surroundings. There is a large aquarium of native fish, displays on local animals and plants, and an explanation of how the lake formed. Sections cover cultural landscape, nature conservation and a hands-on Stone Age area. In the research station Life in the Water, visitors can carry out their own investigations.
