Bremen, Freie Hansestadt Bremen
Set in the middle of Bremen's Rhododendron Park, botanika's greenhouses recreate Asian landscapes: Japan, Borneo, the Himalayas and a tropical butterfly house. The discovery centre has over 80 interactive exhibits, terrariums and a reef aquarium on plants and animals. With the surrounding park, the collection holds roughly 650 species and 3,500 varieties of rhododendron, the largest in the world.
