Altmühlzentrum

Parts of Dollnstein castle and the open grounds beside it are devoted to the history of the village and the surrounding Altmühl landscape. Visitors enter the lower castle courtyard through a medieval gate tower whose inner part dates from the 12th century. A ring wall encloses the courtyard.
