Stadtmühle Malchow
Malchow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
The town mill is the landmark of the island town of Malchow: a gallery-type Dutch windmill from around 1880 with a rotor diameter of 24 metres. A balcony running around it let the miller work the sails and brake, and from 1901 a steam engine drove it. The mill and its granary are listed buildings.
