Ostfriesisches Landesmuseum Emden
Emden, Niedersachsen
This regional museum's permanent exhibition presents the art and history of Emden and Ostfriesland within the wider story of European culture. Around 4 percent of the more than 50,000 objects in the collection are on show. It grew out of a society founded by Emden citizens in 1820 to keep local art treasures in the city.
