Johannes a Lasco Bibliothek

Set within the ruins of Emden's Great Church, destroyed in an air raid in 1943, this library opened in 1995. Its collections focus on the history of Reformed Protestantism and on the regional history of East Frisia. Alongside the library itself there is a museum section.
