Deutsches Gewürzmuseum

The entrance is styled as an oriental bazaar, where you are invited to smell and touch the spices. From there the historic spice route leads over land and sea to Germany, with travel accounts, exhibits and films on spice mills old and new. Further sections cover spices in crafts, cooking and the food industry, and as medicine. It stands in the Mönchshof in Kulmbach, alongside the brewery and bakery museums.
