Muzeum Minerałów Skarby Ziemi w Bielsku-Białej

This small private museum in central Bielsko-Biała shows around 800 mineral specimens, arranged by the Strunz classification. Silicates dominate, above all quartz in its forms: amethyst, rock crystal, smoky quartz and aventurine. A separate microscope room lets you study tiny micromineral specimens under magnification, and an educational film about minerals and rocks lights up selected specimens as it plays.
