Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden

Fifteen museums make up this group, which traces back to the art chamber the Saxon electors founded in 1560. Its venues are spread across Dresden: the Residenzschloss, the Zwinger, the Albertinum, Pillnitz Palace, the Japanese Palace and the Jägerhof. Together they let you follow the collecting tradition of the electors and kings. The ethnographic collections also have sites in Leipzig and Herrnhut.
