Zachęta Narodowa Galeria Sztuki
Warszawa, mazowieckie
A contemporary art gallery in the centre of Warsaw, showing work by Polish and foreign artists in solo and group exhibitions, as well as shows built around particular themes. It occupies a Renaissance-style building on Królewska Street designed by Stefan Szyller. The name comes from the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, founded in 1860, whose efforts led to its creation.
