Wildschönauer Bergbauernmuseum z' Bach
Wildschönau, Tirol
Rooms dating from 1795 set the scene for this museum of Tyrolean mountain farming life. More than 1,200 exhibits tell of the hard, frugal existence of the farmers who worked these slopes. The old house is part of the visit, and in summer a Thursday craft market adds demonstrations of traditional handwork.
