Wiedenbrücker Schule Museum

Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Nordrhein-Westfalen

The museum tells the story of Rheda-Wiedenbrück and of the Wiedenbrück School, an art movement working in the Historicist style between 1854 and 1920. It also shows the crafts of the former Hanseatic town and the roots of the local furniture industry. The town's many surviving half-timbered houses make a fitting backdrop.
