Westwallmuseum Wiltingen
Wiltingen, Rheinland-Pfalz
Two Westwall bunkers restored by private initiative make up this museum above the Saar. One is a machine-gun bunker for five or six men, built to guard the Saar bridge; a stairwell and covered entrance were added because of the steep slope. The other is an artillery observation bunker for six men, with an open observation post, a flanking position and a combined fighting and calculation room.
