Vogtlandmuseum Plauen

Plauen, Sachsen

Three listed merchants' houses from around 1800 on Nobelstraße hold the story of the Saxon Vogtland. The museum covers the cultural history of the region and of Plauen itself. The buildings are worth a look in their own right: in the first-floor ballroom, which spans the full width of the house, twelve stucco reliefs along the walls depict the months of the year.
