This regional museum on náměstí Republiky in Olomouc tells the history and natural setting of central Moravia. It grew out of a patriotic society museum of 1883, the first Czech museum in Moravia, and later absorbed the city's applied arts, history and natural history collections. It also runs the château at Čechy pod Kosířem and the Bílá Lhota arboretum.
