This town museum with a gallery in Železnice, near Jičín, grew out of a local collecting drive that began around 1917, when townspeople were asked to hand in anything with a trace of the past about it. The first 351 items have since grown into a collection on the history of the town and its surroundings. The museum also runs events such as Museum Day, the Triangl festival and Advent in Železnice.
