Ulica Pomorska

województwo małopolskie, małopolskie

In the basement of the former Silesian House, which served as Gestapo headquarters during the German occupation, you can walk through the old holding cells, where prisoners' inscriptions survive on the walls. The permanent exhibition covers Kraków in the years of terror, 1939 to 1956, from the German occupation to Stalinism, told through the fates of victims and perpetrators. A virtual archive on victims of repression is also available online.
