Steirisches Feuerwehrmuseum

Groß Sankt Florian, Steiermark

Housed in the listed Markushof in Groß Sankt Florian, the village associated with the patron saint of firefighters, this museum traces how fire brigades in Styria came about and developed. The building was converted for the purpose and opened in 1995. A gallery added in 1997 also hosts art exhibitions, so there is something beyond fire engines and equipment.
