Spreewehrmühle
Cottbus, Brandenburg
A water mill on the Spree in Cottbus, right beside the Great Spree Weir near where the Hammergraben canal branches off. It is one of the few surviving river mills in Germany and is regarded as the only water mill of its type in eastern Germany. It stopped working in 1959, and its big waterwheel on a major river was recognised as technically significant the following year.
