Schauanlage und Museum der Granitindustrie

Haselbachtal, Sachsen

Häslich was a stone-working village, and this open-air museum is all about Lusatian granite. It stands on the grounds of a former stone company at the edge of the village, near the Prelle quarry, where granodiorite was cut and worked. It shows how the rock became paving stones, columns, troughs and rollers.
