Sammlung Domnick Nürtingen

Nürtingen, Baden-Württemberg

Postwar abstract painting and sculpture hang in a house that collector Ottomar Domnick had built in 1967 as a museum to live in. The square, window-poor building has open space, staggered levels and white walls. The core of the collection is Willi Baumeister, Hans Hartung and Fritz Winter, alongside works on paper, masks from Africa and New Guinea, and metal sculptures. A park surrounds the house.
