The museum occupies the town hall in Głubczyce and carries on a local collection first started in 1910. Exhibitions cover the Second World War, the culture and keepsakes of the former eastern borderlands, and the town's brewing trade. Part of the old collection was scattered during the war; the museum has been in the renovated town hall since 2008.
