Polizeimuseum Hamburg

Hamburg, Hamburg

Around 200 years of policing in Hamburg are laid out here, along with the methods of forensic science and a selection of the city's criminal cases from the early 20th century onwards. One part of the exhibition looks at the Nazi era and the part the police played in enforcing the regime. The museum stands in Winterhude, on the grounds of the Police Academy, and is billed as Germany's largest police museum.
