Uhldingen-Mühlhofen, Baden-Württemberg
On the shore of Lake Constance at Unteruhldingen, reconstructed stilt houses from the Stone and Bronze Ages fill an open-air site, currently 23 of them. A museum building alongside displays archaeological finds from the lake dwellings. Together they show how people lived at the water's edge thousands of years ago.
