Orawski Park Etnograficzny w Zubrzycy Górnej

Zubrzyca Górna, małopolskie

This open-air museum shows how people lived in Upper Orava, through its traditional buildings, everyday objects and customs, shaped by Wallachian shepherds and farmers who moved in from the north. It opened in 1955 as the first outdoor museum in postwar Poland. Its roots go back to the 1930s, when the Moniak family's homestead and a few hectares of land were handed over to the state.
