Housed in the main building of the National Museum in Gdańsk, a fifteenth-century Franciscan monastery on ulica Toruńska, this branch shows older art. Permanent displays cover European ceramics, medieval sculpture, old Gdańsk goldsmithing and galleries of Flemish, Dutch and Gdańsk painting. Artists include Jan Brueghel the Younger, Anthony van Dyck, Gerard Dou and Aelbert Cuyp.
