Muzeum Ziemi Sochaczewskiej i Pola Bitwy nad Bzurą

Sochaczew, mazowieckie

Housed in Sochaczew's classicist town hall from the 1830s, this museum sits in a building that served as the command post for the town's defence in September 1939. Its main permanent exhibition covers the Battle of the Bzura and the Second World War, with small arms, equipment, documents, photographs, and the uniforms and kit of Polish soldiers. A worthwhile stop if you want to understand what happened in this area during the 1939 campaign.
