Muzeum Ziemi Mazurskiej w Owczarni

Pożarki, warmińsko-mazurskie

Set in buildings of a former country estate, this museum shows how people lived in Masuria between 1815 and 1945. A historic cottage has been refitted with a dark kitchen with an open hearth, two peasant rooms and two gentry rooms. The collection includes furniture, household goods, farm machinery, prewar maps and weapons. Visits can also follow a theme: regional history, Masurian culture and religion, furniture-making or farm work.
