Muzeum Regionalne w Barlinku

Barlinek, zachodniopomorskie

The museum sits in the Gutenberg House, a former printing works from the mid-19th century, and grew out of a local enthusiast's private collection. Permanent displays cover the chess world champion Emanuel Lasker and his family, archaeology from the Neolithic to the Iron Age, the history of Barlinek in the 19th and 20th centuries, and village life in the surrounding countryside. Old maps, postcards and a diorama of the town's railway station are among the exhibits.
