Muzeum Pamięci Sybiru

Białystok, podlaskie

This museum tells the story of Poles in Siberia from the 18th century on: tsarist exile, then Soviet repression and deportations to Siberia and Kazakhstan. Białystok is a fitting home, since in four mass deportations in 1940–1941 one in five of its residents was sent east. The permanent exhibition at Węglowa 1 has been open since 2021.
