Stonařov, Kraj Vysočina
This museum in Stonařov recalls the morning of 22 May 1808, when a fiery cone appeared in the sky and some 200 to 300 meteorites fell on the surrounding land. They have a thin, glassy black crust and probably come from the asteroid Vesta. The museum is in the municipal office building, and a monument to the fall stands in the village centre.
