Muzeum Armii Krajowej w Krakowie

Kraków, małopolskie

This is the place to follow the story of the Polish wartime underground: the Home Army and the wider Polish Underground State, from its roots to the legacy it left behind. The collection holds more than 8,000 objects and over 12,000 archival items, mostly donated by veterans and their families, many of them treasured as relics. The museum occupies a building from 1911, put up as the command post of the Austrian Kraków Fortress. It is named after General Emil Fieldorf "Nil", a Kraków native and Home Army commander.
