Museumshof Rahden

Rahden, Nordrhein-Westfalen

A fully furnished farmstead with all its outbuildings shows how people in this region lived and worked in the 19th century. Ten buildings stand on about three hectares, among them the main house of 1689 with its farm garden, a granary from around 1750, a horse mill of 1860 and the bakehouse of 1560, the oldest on the site. Nearly all were moved here from other farms nearby. The grounds border the ruins of Rahden castle.
