Museum St. Anton am Arlberg
St. Anton am Arlberg, Tirol
This museum occupies a villa built around 1910, with a large fireplace hall, a stately staircase and an upstairs gallery. It covers the history of the village, the development of alpine skiing, and the history of transport and tourism in the Arlberg region. The house itself is part of the story: its builder supported the ski pioneer Hannes Schneider.
