Museum Reinhard Ernst

Wiesbaden, Hessen

A gleaming white cube in central Wiesbaden, designed by Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki, is devoted to abstract art. Opened in 2024, it spreads over several levels around a central atrium and shows works from Reinhard Ernst's collection of more than 960 pieces, with artists such as Jackson Pollock, Hans Hartung, Helen Frankenthaler and Tony Cragg. Over 2,500 square metres are given to exhibitions.
