Museum Angewandte Kunst
Frankfurt am Main, Hessen
Crafts, design, book art and graphics, plus Islamic and East Asian art: the collection holds more than 30,000 pieces of European applied art from the 12th to the 21st century. Set on Frankfurt's Museumsufer, the museum asks what applied art means today and explores the tension between function and aesthetic value.
