Museum am Wasserturm
Hohenlockstedt, Schleswig-Holstein
A water tower and its former pump house make up this volunteer-run museum. You can climb the tower for a view from about 18 metres over the surrounding Geest landscape. A permanent exhibition covers the Finnish Jäger movement and the training of Finnish volunteers at the former Lockstedt camp, which draws many visitors from Finland. Further sections look at the local history of the military training ground.
