Mondo mio!

Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen

This is a place where children can touch and try things out: in the Florianhalle in Dortmund's Westfalenpark, about 30 interactive stations fill roughly 1,000 square metres. They deal with cultural identity, communication, light and sound, consumption and waste, life and death, natural elements and energy. The core of the display goes back to everyday objects and dioramas from around the world on the theme of basic needs, gathered by the Indian artist Rajeev Sethi for EXPO 2000.
