An exhibition hall at Steubenplatz, which began as a Neo-Renaissance building in 1889. After wartime destruction a new building went up in 1957, with an extension added in 1986/87. In front stands the rebuilt portico of the old Rhein Gate, which together with the forecourt forms an inner courtyard used as a sculpture garden.
