The old parish house of 1660 on the market square has housed a museum since 1992. Its Heimatstube is a recreated historic farmhouse parlour, and memorial rooms cover Adalbert Stifter, born nearby in Oberplan, and the local poet Pauline Bayer. There is also a glass collection, and the building's vaulted ceilings and 18th-century stucco ceiling are worth a look in themselves.
