Kolonie-Museum Leverkusen

Leverkusen, Nordrhein-Westfalen

Two of the historic houses in Wiesdorf's Bayer colonies hold this museum on everyday life in the company housing built for the Bayer factory's employees. The first flats date from around 1900, and the estates are now listed. The museum opened in 2005, and volunteers renovated and furnished the houses and still look after them.
