Karl-May-Museum Radebeul
Radebeul, Sachsen
Karl May, author of the Winnetou and Old Shatterhand novels, lived here until his death, and his home, Villa Shatterhand, now shows his life and work. In the garden stands Villa Bärenfett, a log cabin that was the starting point of the museum. The collections are ethnographic and artistic, centred on the American frontier and Native American life. The garden and the grove across the street are part of the grounds.
