Jüdisches Museum Göppingen

Göppingen, Baden-Württemberg

Housed since 1992 in the village church of Jebenhausen, built in 1507, this museum covers the history of the Jews of Jebenhausen and Göppingen. The ceiling chandeliers and pews came from the Jebenhausen synagogue and were given to the Christian congregation when the synagogue closed in 1899. The building itself speaks of the two communities.
